At Wearable Stories, we’re passionate about the planet. And that means reducing waste in any way we can. Overall, the fashion industry discards more than 70 million tonnes of excess or unused fabric every year — much of which ends up in landfills or otherwise contributes to pollution and garbage.
We know our community not only cares about looking great, they care about the Earth and want to do everything possible to help reduce this kind of waste.
That’s why we came up with a simple way to help keep extra fabric from being thrown away. Rather than adding to the landfill, we decided to repurpose excess fabric to make even more beautiful pieces for you! And that’s just what we’ve done with our new REPURPOSED line.
